Mahindra Motors has recently revealed the price of the much awaited off roader, Mahindra Thar. Thar is India’s first BS IV CRDe diesel engine in soft top. It is the most Powerful engine in its class that develops 77 KW power (105 BHP) and 247 NM torque for locomotive like pulling power. Integral power steering and short turning radius of 5.25 m make it easier to drive. It has independent front suspension for comfort and agility off road. The standard 4wd ensures that no one can follow you too far. Thar is powered by 2498 CC CRDe engine, 77.23 kW power, 247 Nm @ 1800-2000 rpm torque, 5 speed manual gear box, auto hub lock, 200 mm ground clearance, front disc and rear drum brakes, tube less tyres, 60 liters fuel tank capacity, 7 persons seating capacity and ease of driving.
