TVS Motors has recently announced about the launch of TVS Max 4R Bike into Indian Automobiles market. TVS Max 4R bike is the modified version of old max 100 bike and is Bharat stage III norms compliant. Following to the Bharat stage II norms, the then popular Max R Bike model was discontinued in 2005. The all new TVS Max 4R bike is powered by 4 stroke 110 cc engine, the same as in the TVS Jive. The new Bharat Stage III compliant model TVS Max 4R is specially designed for heavy load carrying riders in India. It will face a strong competition against Bajaj Discover, Hero Honda Splendor, Hero Honda Passion, Hero Honda CD Dawn and Yamaha Crux.
